Frequently Asked Questions

How is recycled ceramic made?
Recycled ceramics are produced in an environmentally friendly way that repurposes old or damaged ceramics and production leftovers. The process begins with the unusable ceramic being carefully crushed and ground into a fine powder. This powder is then mixed with new raw materials such as clay and kaolin to form a fresh body. This creates new products that are not only sustainable but also meet the high quality standards expected of ceramics. This cycle keeps the material in circulation and reduces waste. Each piece created from recycled ceramics thus contributes to the conservation of natural resources without sacrificing beauty or functionality

Sustainability and China – a contradiction?
Not with us! Our production facility in China demonstrably meets high quality and environmental standards and is certified by GRS, BSCI, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FAMA, among others. Our goal is to develop ceramic products that are durable, resource-efficient, and responsibly manufactured.
By choosing our ceramics, you're choosing proven quality and a conscious product. Sustainability that not only looks good but also feels good.

What is the GRS certificate all about?
The GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certificate is an internationally recognized award for products that contain a high proportion of recycled materials and are manufactured under strict ecological and social standards. For us at PandaCeramic, it's a significant milestone because it not only confirms the use of recycled raw materials, but also consistently responsible production throughout the entire supply chain. The certificate verifies everything – from the origin of the materials to fair working conditions. It thus clearly demonstrates what we stand for: sustainability, transparency, and quality in every detail.
